Easy to Integrate The SafeNet Security Management Center (SMC) allows network administrators to centrally manage SafeNet’s entire family of network encryptors from a single Java™-based management platform. SMC provides secure, flexible, and transparent SNMP-based control and monitoring capabilities, both in-band and out-of-band. The point-and-click interface and configuration wizards make it easy to configure, modify, and report on network security. Uses Digital Certificates to Secure Channels Communications between the SMC and SafeNet security products are managed through the use of digital certificates. This creates two-way authenticated, highly secure channels, eliminating the possibility of spoofing or eavesdropping. The SNMPv3 architecture provides interoperability with enterprise network management software suites for additional device and network monitoring options. |
